Week 9 Status Report

The following are the descriptions about what each of our teammate has done in the week of 5th April.

What's Cooking?

This week, I worked on data analytics queries using pandas to clean, trim and generate reports. Integrated the datasets(Yelp, Crime and business) using text similarity and other group by techniques provided by the libraries.

Upcoming

Next week, I'll be working on comparing different machine learning techniques and other remaining queries for the data analytics.

What's Cooking?

In this week I have understood the part of the sentimental analysis. I have learned its implementation in python by using the TextBlog library. I have also worked on queries in the assignment which use the sentimental analysis and reviews related queries. I have worked on the restaurants and reviews files using pandas framework. I have also learned the sklearn library in python for ML algorithms.

For the next week, I will be working with the team to complete the project queries.

What's Cooking?

This week, I have worked on the query determining relation between average yelp review and food inspection result. Used jaccard coefficient to match the name and address from yelp dataset and food inspection dataset.
